Our Values: Our rescue values each cat for their unique spirit and considers each cat as an individual. We have chosen to keep our rescue small so that we know each of our cats well – their likes, dislikes, temperment and personality. As many of our cats have already been abandoned once, we are extremely discerning in evaluating and matching the right cat in the right home at the right time to ensure a loving, life-long adoption for both the cat and their new family!! As a result, we have a nearly zero return rate and many happy repeat adopters. We are committed to our cats for their lifetime and are available to our adopters for ongoing post-adoption follow-up and counsel as needed. We also offer in-home services of nail clipping and cat sitting.
Care: Our cats are completely vetted: spayed/neutered, litterbox trained, vaccinated, tested negative for FeLV/ FIV (unless noted otherwise), treated for fleas, dewormed, and microchipped. All other necessary and known vet work has also been done. Any known medical conditions are disclosed and the adopter receives copies of all vet work and care.
Where: Typically, some of our adoptable cats can be seen at Petsmart Willow Grove and PetValu Dresher adoption centers. However, this is currently limited due to the pandemic. We strongly recommend filling out an application for preapproval. This way if a cat or kittens matching your interest is available in our foster system, you are already approved and will be the first contacted!! Once an approved adopter, our cats in foster homes can be seen through special arrangement or we will arrange a meeting at the store.
Our primary adoptions are in Montgomery, Chester and Bucks counties in Pennsylvania. We will occasionally, and on a case-by-case basis, make placements in other counties and surrounding areas.
Adopting: Interested parties are required to complete an adoption application in full that includes a veterinary reference and other pertinent background information.
Our adoption fee helps to offset the costs of veterinary care for rescued cats which can be considerable and also covers microchipping. The adoption fee is paid by check or cash.
Barn Cats: We also have barn cats available for mousing your barn, warehouse or garden!! Please contact us if interested in adopting barn cats!!!
