*Microchipping $15 – trappers may bring their own chips which can be inserted at no cost.

Low income spay/neuter (requires proof of public assistance, usually an access card)  Includes spay/neuter surgery, vaccines, ear tipping if feral.  Fee is “pay what you can” or “free” dependant on grant funding.

All other services requested are an additional charge.

TNR program targeting 9 city zip codes – 19124, 19125, 19132, 19134, 19139, 19140, 19143, 19144, and 19149.  Covers surgery costs for Philly cats outside these zip codes as well provided someone from the community is able to trap and transport them to a clinic.

PSPCA Free Roaming Cat Program B St & Erie Ave, Feltonville
Using the TNRM (Trap-Neuter-Return-Management) Model, the Pennsylvania SPCA provides services to individuals and community groups interested in controlling the population and improving the health of feral and friendly free-roaming cats in the city of Philadelphia.  Several surgery packages are available which include low-cost spay and neuter surgery, vaccinations, flea and tick prevention, ear treatment, ear tipping and more. Additional medical services such as FeLV and FIV testing are available at an additional cost.

APPROVED TRAPPER/RESCUERS: in an effort to streamline check ins through our free roaming cat program, please fill out the PSPCA Free Roaming Cat Program Package Anesthesia, Additional Procedure and Surgical Consent Form in advance of dropping off cats for surgery.

GENERAL INFO: Appointments available 7 days a week:  NEW ONLINE registration form or call (215) 426-6300; Drop off between 7 and 8 am; Pick up between 4 to 6 pm

*Feral Cats Package:   To be considered a feral cat, the animal must be fractious and unable to live within a shelter or home environment. Mandatory Left ear tip.

*Rescue Cat Package:   To be considered a free roaming cat, the animal must be able to be handled and without an owner or home.  The PSPCA is willing to accept friendly and healthy free roaming cats as space allows in the shelter.

*All additional medical care will be at an additional cost.   All patients approved through this program will receive 20% off all other veterinary services.
